All six of Unbridled’s Song’s offerings brought six-figure prices at the Aug. 2-3 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling sale, including three horses that were consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.
The highest price of the sextet was hip No. 155, a filly Taylor Made consigned for Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings, LLC, who went for $335,000 to Vision Sales 2010. The dark bay or brown filly is the first foal out of her dam River’s Prayer, winner of the Grade 1 Princess Rooney H.
Not far behind that price was hip No. 183, also consigned by Taylor Made. The colt was purchased by Goldmark Farm for $300,000. The gray or roan is also out of a top-class mare in Stop Traffic, who won a pair of Grade 1’s in the Santa Monica and Ballerina Handicaps. She is the dam of three winners, including the stakes-placed Into My Soul.
Hip No. 200, another gray or roan colt, brought $250,000, with Barry Berkelhammer, agent, signing the ticket for the Woods Edge Farm consignee. The yearling is out of the Grade 2 winner Whoopi Cat, whose only foal to race to date is twice stakes-placed at Monmouth Park.
The third of the Taylor Made consigned offerings was hip No. 150, who sold for $200,000 to Zayat Stables. The bay colt is out of the stakes winner Resplendency, who has one other foal, a 2-year-old that has yet to start.
