Bridle Up became the latest stakes winner for her sire Unbridled’s Song with with a victory in the Ogori Tokubetsu S. on Aug. 22. The 4-year-old filly is the eighth stakes winner of 2010 for her sire, who currently ranks seventh on the U.S. General sire list with $4.4 million in progeny earnings.
Bridle Up ran her record to 4-4-0 in 13 starts after the win in the six furlong Ogori Tokubetsu, contested on the grass at Kokura racecourse. She has earned $730,000 owner Mamoru Kato.
Out of Wanda’s Dream, Bridle Up is a half-sister to the stakes-placed Womble. Bridle Up was sold for $200,000 at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton February 2-year-olds in training sale.
