Sunday double gives Not This Time nine winners

Not This Time increased his First-Crop win total to nine with a pair of maiden special weight winners on Sunday, giving him three more individual winners than any other freshman sire.

First-time starter Needless to Say capped the day with her impressive 3 1/4-length maiden special weight victory at Del Mar. The dark bay filly led nearly the entire 5 1/2-furlong trip, widening her margin in the final furlong.

The winner is a Harris Farms homebred out of the the multiple stakes winner and graded stakes-placed Camille C. Harris owns Needless to Say with Per Antonsen.

About 90 minutes earlier, Time Goes On, who was also making his debut, was a 3 1/2-length winner in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight at Prairie Meadows, coming from just off the pace to take command in upper stretch and draw off smartly for the win.

Time Goes On is owned by his breeder Albaugh Family Stables.  The chestnut 2-year-old is out of the stakes-winning Macho Uno mare Dawnie Macho.
