First-Crop yearling sire Not This Time had his best result to date at Keeneland September Yearling sale early in the first Saturday session of the Sept. 9-22 auction when hip No. 1027 sold for $375,000.
Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the colt went to prominent buyers Solis and Litt. The striking dark bay is out of the stakes winner Tough Issie and is from the same family of Grade 1 winners Subordination and Careless Jewel.
Not This Time’s best filly to date sold for $200,000 during Tuesday’s session. Consigned by Taylor Made, hip No. 369 went to Casner Racing. The Kentucky-bred is out of Grade 1 winner Dream of Summer, one of the top broodmares of the past decade, whose foals include Grade 1 millionaire Creative Cause, multiple Grade 2 winner Destin, and the Grade 3-winning filly Vexatious.
Not This Time, who bred 275 mares in his first two seasons, had a total of 67 yearlings cataloged in the current sale, with 60 more to sell, including Saturday’s action.
