Taylor Made stallion Forestry had a pair of six-figures sales horses at the 2010 Keeneland January horses of all ages sale.
The
first to go was Hip No. 130, the 8-year-old broodmare Ever Elusive. On
the racetrack, Ever Elusive won the Winning Colors S. at Churchill
Downs and was third in the Vinery Madison S. (G2) at Keeneland. Her
first foal is a 2-year-old of 2010. She was purchased for $105,000 by
Joshua Farms Limited, agent.
Forest Valentine, a
3-year-old listed as Hip No. 573, also sold for $105,000. The dark bay
or brown filly, who was sold as a racing or broodmare prospect, went to
Trace Wood Farm. Forest Valentine is a full sister to Carolyn’s Cat,
winner of the Vagrancy H. (G2) and Cicada S. (G3).
