Ourdaydreaminggirl came rolling in the final furlong to break her maiden stylishly on Dec. 30 at Parx, winning the seven-furlong contest by a widening two lengths.
The chestnut filly’s victory gave Instagrand 22 individual winners from his first crop, which is the fourth-most of any First-Crop sire. Instagrand, who will stand the 2025 season for $10,000 S&N, wrapped up 2024 with more than $1.3 million in progeny earnings.
Ourdaydreaminggirl sat comfortably several lengths off the early pace in Monday’s contest. Midway on the turn, she began to gain ground on the leaders before encountering traffic trouble at the top of the stretch. She made her way between horses with a furlong to go and ran past a pair of foes in the final sixteenth to win going away.
The winner is owned by Bran Jam Stable and David Clark and was bred in Kentucky by Pippa’s Hurricane.
