Not This Time’s initial summer yearling offered at auction brought a winning bid of $200,000 Tuesday at the Fasig-Tipton July sale in central Kentucky.
Taylor Made Sales Agency was the consignor of the colt, hip No. 156, with Randy Bradshaw, agent, the winning bidder.
The bay juvenile, bred by Angela Ingenito, is out of Business Decision, who is a daughter of Humana Distaff (G3) winner In Conference, and his third dam is Grade 1 winner Personal Business.
The precocious Not This Time, a son of champion sire Giant’s Causeway, won the Iroquois S. (G3) over future Kentucky Derby (G1) runner-up Lookin At Lee, then finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), defeating the likes of Practical joke, Gormley and Klimt, all currently at stud in Kentucky.
Not This Time, who stood for $15,000 this season, bred 274 mares his first two years at stud.
