Ninete held off the late charge of Vequist to win her debut by a nose in a 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies July 29 at Parx.

She is the fourth winner for Not This Time, who is currently the leading First-Crop Sire by winners, wins, black type horses, and graded stakes horses.

Niente races for Richie’s World Stables LLC and was bred in Kentucky by Anchor Equine. Her dam Three Degrees Mon has had five foals to race, all winners and is from the family of Arkansas Derby (G2) winner Sir Cherokee and multiple Grade 2 winner Miss Isella.
