A filly from the leading First-Crop sire brought a top bid of $360,000 late in Wednesday’s session of the Sept. 9-10 Fasig-Tipton Selected Yearlings Showcase in Lexington.
Consigned by Woods Edge Farm, agent, hip No. 284 went to the team of Solis and Litt.
The dark bay filly is out of the multiple stakes winner On The Backstreets.
Not This Time is the top-ranked First-Crop sire of 2020 with nine winners to date. On Sept. 6 he got his first Grade 1 winner when the ultra-impressive Princess Noor romped in the Del Mar Debutante for her second facile win in as many starts.
Not This Time’s other lot to sell Wednesday was hip No. 222, consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, and purchased by Stripes Stable for $290,000.
