Northern Afleet had one of the top 10 colts during the Friday session of the Sept. 14-26 Keeneland September Yearling sale, the first offering for the Taylor Made sire who has a total of nine juveniles in the auction.

Consigned by Select Sales on behalf of Machmer Hall and Saddles n Silks LLC as hip No. 856, the colt went to Jerry Crawford’s Donegal Racing, who owns this year’s Travers S. (G1) winner Keen Ice, for $380,000.

The gray or roan yearling is out of the Unbridled mare Eishin Bridle, who is a perfect six-for-six in producing winners, including the stakes winner Road Ready and Grade 1-placed Be Smart.
