Northern Afleet was represented by one colt in the Mar. 2 Fasig-Tipton Calder 2-year-old Sale, consigned by Parrish Farms, Agent. When the hammer came down on Hip No. 210, the yet-to-be-named colt went to John P. Fort for $300,000.
The powerfully-built chestnut with a large white blaze worked a quick quarter-mile in :21.4, one of only a handful of workers to break the :22 second barrier.
Out of Swiss Courts Cheat, the colt is a half-brother to the stakes winner Swiss Lad, who was third in the Del Mar Futurity (G2).
