Prime Engine ran his record to 2-for-2 following a dominating 5 ½-length victory in the $50,000 Gottstein Futurity Sunday at Emerald Downs.

Northern Afleet now has 75 lifetime stakes winners, including seven this year. His 2014 runners have amassed nearly $4 million in progeny earnings.

Prime Engine, who broke his maiden just two weeks ago with a similarly impressive performance, was much the best again on Sunday in what was his first start around two turns (VIDEO).

Bred in Kentucky by Gene Tenbrink, Prime Engine sold for $110,000 at the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale.
