Leading First-Crop sire Not This Time tallied his third winner from just five starters on June 19 when My Kiki drew off to a 4 1/4-length maiden special weight win at Evangeline Downs.
The chestnut filly was always prominent from the start, and took over the lead for good at the top of the stretch to come home a comfortable winner (VIDEO).
Owned and trained by Arthur Pike III, My Kiki was bred by Perry Judice. She is the second foal out of the stakes winner Bet on Soup, who has a trio of stakes-winning siblings.
Not This Time’s three winners to date tops all freshman sires. He was also the leading first-crop sire by far at the recently concluded OBS 2-year-olds in Training sale, with a $1.35 million filly and colts that brought $700,000 and $575,000.
