Not This Time earned his second new stakes winner of the day when It’s Her Time rolled to an impressive win in the $100,000 Minnesota Oaks at Canterbury Park.
It’s Her Time, who was stretching out to two turns for the first time in the 1 mile and 70 yard Oaks, came out of the gate well from post three and was second just behind She’s My Warrior as the field rounded the first turn. She held her spot through a half in :46.95 before taking over the lead with about three furlongs to run.
It’s Her Time sprinted away from the field coming into the stretch and was all alone the rest of the way, getting the distance in 1:44.31 on a fast track.
It’s Her Time has won three of her five starts and earned $110,450 for her owner/breeder Warren Bush.
