Inspired’s one-length victory in the $200,000 Turf Amazon S. Sept. 3 at Parx Racing [VIDEO] gave Unbridled’s Song his second stakes winner of the holiday weekend; two days earlier Emcee took the Grade 1 Forego S. at Saratoga

Emcee is Unbridled’s Song’s leading earner this year, and is one of 11 stakes horses by the Taylor Made Stallion. Inspired’s latest victory was her third stakes win of 2012.

Inspired,a 5-year-old mare, used her customary speed to go right to the front and engage Nechez Dawn for the top spot in the first furlong. The chestnut mare drew away from that rival on the turn and held sway down the stretch to remain clear, hitting the wire a one-length winner in 1:00.87 for the five furlongs on a “soft” turf course.

Inspired won the Pan Zareta S. and Happy Ticket S. earlier this year at Fair Grounds and has six stakes wins in her illustrious career. Bred and owned by Peter Blum, Inspired is now 8-3-1 in 21 starts, with earnings of $439.385.
