Buzz Off bested a field of eight more seasoned juveniles in his debut Sept. 20 in a 6 1/2-furlong maiden special wieght contest for 2-year-olds at Presque Isle Downs (VIDEO).

The winner is the fifth this year for freshman sire Graydar, whose progeny are showing that they appreciate more distance than in the spring 2-year-old races.

Buzz Off led the entire trip on Wednesday, holding off Captain Mad Jack to win by a neck for his owners Robert and Tammy Klimasewski. 

Buzz Off is the second foal out of Buzz Home, who is a sister to three stakes winners. Buzz Off was bred by Blackstone Farm LLC.
