Graydar, whose first foals are yearlings of 2016, had one of the top-10 colt prices during Sunday’s session of the Keeneland September Yearling sale with a $210,000 juvenile consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.
Mike Ryan, agent was the winning bidder for hip No. 1614, a dark bay Kentucky-bred that is the first foal out of the Grade 3-placed Speightstown mare Eagle Hall. The colt’s third dam Statuette is responsible for Irish Highweight 2-year-old Tomahawk.
After Sunday’s session, Graydar has 28 lots remaining the catalog for the sale that runs through Sept. 25.
