Graydar’s first yearlings to sell at auction included a $200,000 colt at Tuesday’s Fasig-Tipton July sale, with Twin Creeks Racing Stable signing for the colt consigned by Hidden Brook, agent.
Cataloged as hip No. 235, the gray or roan juvenile is the first foal produced by Heavenly Ghost, an unraced daughter of Horse of the Year Ghostzapper whose siblings include Graded stakes winners Dilemma and Heavenly Ransom and black type winner Capitano.
Graydar, a top five weanling sire of 2015, has been one of the most popular young stallions on the market, breeding to 255 mares in his first two seasons.
