Forestry ‘on fire’ with 5th stakes winner in month

Multiple stakes winner Claremiezie went right to the front and widened her advantage at every pole, en route to a 5-length triumph in the $50,000 Chariot Chaser H. on June 17 at Northlands Park.


The 3-year-old daughter of Forestry became her sire’s fifth stakes winner in 31 days, joining Shackleford-G1 (May 28), Doe (May 31), Maple Forest (May 28), and Southern Style (May 18).


Claremiezie was a multiple stakes winner at two, winning three times in three starts in Canada, including the Princess Margaret S. and Lassie S. Bred in Kentucky by Aaron and Marie Jones, the dark bay filly out of Deputy of Wood, by Deputy Minister was sold as a two-year-old in training, and races now for Riversedge Racing. Under the tutelage of Greg Tracy, Claremiezie has compiled a record of 8-5-0-0 and $121,820.


One of America’s top “Value Sires,” Forestry has now sired 43 stakes winners, 77 stakes horses and earners of $37,000,000. He is standing the 2012 season for $12,500, $11,250 if paid by November 1st.
