The 2010 Wood Memorial (G1), won in dominant fashion by Eskendereya, has been voted by fans as the New York Racing Association’s Race of the Year.

The Wood beat out both the Whitney S. (G1) and Travers S. (G1).  More than 3,000 votes were cast on the NYRA website in polling that began in December and ended Saturday, January 15.  Eskendereya’s powerhouse victory received 967 of the total votes.
