A colt from the first crop of Eskendereya brought $500,000 at the March 24 Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of 2-year-olds, one of the top 10 prices realized at the prestigious one-day auction.

The winning bidder for hip No. 66 was Mark Casse, agent for the colt consigned by Wavertree Stables Inc. The bay juvenile is out of the top-class producer Call Me Fleet, by Afleet. The dam of six winners from 10 starters, she has produced the Irish 5-7 furlong highweight filly Warrior Queen (who is the dam of multiple Grade 2 winner A. P. Warrior), Gallant Fox H. winner Tiger’s Rock, and the stakes-placed Rapid Ransom.
