First-Crop sire Mshawish got his third maiden winner of the week in Saturday’s finale at Keeneland when Critical Threat won his six-furlong debut.
The colt’s win comes three days after Mshawish had a pair of maiden special weight winners. Critical Threat’s win upped Mshawish’s total to seven winners. The Taylor Made stallion has a pair of runners entered on Monday at Belmont Park and Delaware Park.
Critical Threat rallied from between horses in upper stretch to run down Outlier in the final sixteenth, winning by three-quarters of a length.
The winner is owned by Pocket Aces Racing and was bred in Kentucky by Lotts Creek Farm.
