Cosmo Girl, recent session topper at the Keeneland January Sale, will be bred to Astrology, who begins his stud career this year at Taylor Made Stallions. His stallion fee for his initial season is $7,500 LFS&N.

Cosmo Girl brought a winning bid of $190,000 from Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings during the third session of the auction.

Cosmo Girl, by City Zip, won Oaklawn Park’s Carousel S. at age four and placed in three additional black-type events, earning $156,237 in her career. She is a half-sister to the stakes winner Green Suede Shoes and comes from the same family as Apple Blossom H. (G1) winner Ermine.

After breaking his maiden over future Grade 1 winner To Honor and Serve in a maiden special weight race at Saratoga, Astrology won the one-mile Iroquois S. (G3) at Churchill Downs before finishing a close runner-up in the Kentucky Jockey Club S. (G2). At 3, he was third in the Preakness S. (G1), beaten just 1 3/4 lengths. Astrology retired with a record of 3-3-3 from 12 starts and earnings of $516,977.
