Tipu Run’s sudden burst of acceleration midway through his six-furlong maiden special weight contest carried the 3-year-old Astrology colt to a commanding 5 1/4-length victory Saturday at Penn National (VIDEO).

Tipu Run is the fifth winner in the past week for Astrology. The Taylor Made stallion has 13 winners to date this year, ranking him in the top 10 for all  Second-Crop sires.

Bred in Kentucky by Springland Farm LLC, Tipu Run is the fourth winner out of Eyesforuska, who is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Gaff. The winner is owned by DB DOJO Inc.
