Veteran Japanese campaigner A Shin F Danz came through with his second straight stakes of 2012 on Feb. 12. The 8-year-old son of Forestry captured his first added money event of the year on Jan. 13.

Bred in Kentucky by Winchester Farm, A Shin F Danz has won or placed in 11 stakes since 2007 and earned nearly $1.2 million. He is one of three millionaires by Forestry, along with Discreet Cat and 2011 Preakness (G1) winner Shackleford.

A Shin F Danz is a half-brother to $2 million earner and Grade 3 winner A Shin G Line. Their dam, Lady Danz, is out of a half-sister to Chief’s Crown, champion 2-year-old of 1984.
