Silver City, a 4-year-old son of Unbridled’s Song, set himself up for future stakes starts with a triumphant return to the races in 2010 in sharp score in a third-level allowance race at Fair Grounds on New Orleans on Mar. 6.

Silver City had been away from the racetrack since last April, when he was fifth in the Derby Trial (G3) at Churchill Downs. Silver City is owner by Clarence Scharbauer, Jr., who purchase the gray or roan colt for $700,000 at the 2007 Keeneland September yearling sale. The colt has a record of 4-1-1 in eight starts.
