Led by three runners who earned year-end championships, Northern Afleet has sired finalists for divisional honors five times in the past seven years.

 

In 2010, Northern Afleet’s daughter Evening Jewel won Grade 1 races at Keeneland and Del Mar, and was an Eclipse Award finalist as champion three-year-old filly.

 

In 2009, Northern Afleet sired divisional champions on two continents, millionaire G1 winner Big City Man, champion older male in the United Arab Emirates, and Grade 1 winner Negligee, the Champion two-year-old filly in Canada.

 

In 2005, Northern Afleet was represented by Champion and dual Classic winner Afleet Alex, who was a near unanimous winner of the Eclipse Award as Champion three-year-old colt in the United States. Afleet Alex was also an Eclipse Award finalist in 2004, as a two-year-old.
