The Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of 2-year-olds lone offering in the catalog by Unbridled’s Song got plenty of attention in the sales ring, bringing a winning bid of $315,000 at the March 26 auction at Palm Meadows Training Center.
A gray/roan like his sire, the colt was cataloged as hip No. 63 and was consigned by Ricky Leppala, agent and purchased by John Kimmel, agent.
The Kentucky bred colt is out of Miss Lodi, winner of the Grade 3 Safely Kept S., and comes from the same family as Mervyn LeRoy H. (G1) winner Super May, and graded stakes winners Ide and Diamond on the Run.
