Unbridled’s Song

Inspired, a 5-year-old daughter of Unbridled’s Song, missed the course record by 3/5 of a second winning the Fort Monmouth Stakes [VIDEO]  on Sunday, June 17th.

Under top weight of 123 lbs. and giving 6 lbs. to all her rivals, Inspired shot right to the front and opened an insurmountable lead in the 5-furlong event over the firm turf. The powerfully built chestnut stopped the teletimer in 1:01.1, some 3/5 off the Monmouth course record of 1:00.3.

A homebred racing for Peter E. Blum and trained by Irwin Iwinski, Inspired has now won seven of her last 16 starts, including five sprint stakes. One of four stakes winners out of Proposal, by Mt. Livermore, Inspired has compiled a record of 19-7-2-1 and $307,385.

Inspired is one of 93 stakes winners, nine 2012 stakes horses, by Unbridled’s Song.
