Forestry got his fourth new stakes winner of 2013 on Wednesday when Homerun Berti rolled to a dominating four-length win in the $55,000 Lea County Sprint S. at Zia Park.

The deftly-managed 7-year-old has now won 12 of his 28 starts, racking up $318,970 in earnings. He is the son of the top-class mare Allamerican Bertie, a four-time graded stakes winner of nearly $800,000.

Homerun Berti represents the fifth winner for Forestry in the past four days, including the impressive Hollywood Park maiden special weight winner Miss Charming. Taylor Made recently announced Forestry’s 2014 at $8,000 LFS&N.
