Taylor Made Stallions sets 2016 stud fees

Taylor Made Stallions has set fees for its 2016 roster of stallions in Nicholasville, KY, led by Graydar, the imposing Grade 1-winning son of Unbridled’s Song who will stand for $15,000 S&N.

Graydar, the brilliant winner of the Donn Handicap (G1), will be represented with his highly-anticipated first-crop of weanlings at next week’s November breeding stock sales. Graydar has covered tremendous books in his first two years at stud, including 130 mares in 2014 and 125 mares in 2015.

Taylor Made Stallions has a trio of stallions standing at the value-based fee of $6,500 S&N, including Astrology, Old Fashioned, and Northern Afleet.

Astrology, A.P. Indy’s graded stakes-winning 2-year-old and Classic-placed 3-year-old, was well received with his first crop of yearlings in 2015. He had seven yearlings bring six figures, including a $425,000 colt at Keeneland September – marking the third highest-priced colt by a freshman sire sold in 2015.

Northern Afleet enjoyed another solid year of success on the racetrack and in the sales ring. He was led by the multiple graded stakes-winning 3-year-old colt World Approval, who set a new course record at Saratoga this summer while winning the Saranac S. (G3). Northern Afleet was also represented by yearlings that sold up to $380,000 in the commercial market.

Taylor Made Stallions is offering significant discounts on multiple mares bred to one or more stallions in 2016. For more information, contact Travis White at 859-885-3345, or visit TaylorMadeStallions.com. Below is a chart of Taylor Made Stallions’ 2016 roster with stands and nurses fees:
