Astrology, already a top-five First-crop Sire of 2016, scored two winners on the same day at Parx on Nov. 6 when Star Studded and The Gemini Man both broke their maidens in their debut.
Astrology now has 14 winners in 2016, fourth-most among all Freshman Sires. His three stakes horses to date include Matron S. (G3) winner Arella Rockstar.
The Gemini Man took the third race with a three-length maiden win at six furlongs, leading the entire trip to win easily. The bay 2-year-old was bred by Blackstone Farm and is owned by Nicole Hedus and William O’Neill.
Three races later, the filly Star Studded was a step slow out of the gate, but recovered swiftly and won her six-furlong contest by a length. Star Studded was bred by Get Away Farm and is owned by Winning Move Stable.
