Beautiful Nite Sky and Draco both chalked up wins on Monday, upping Astrology’s 2017 individual winners total to 35, the highest for any Second-Crop sire who stands for less than $6,500.
For Beautiful Nite Sky, her win at Thistledown came in her first start against allowance company since breaking her maiden in last May. The 3-year-old filly is owned by Dave Casalinova and was bred by Louis Ferrari.
Draco’s victory came in a 5 1/2-furlong maiden special weight contest for 2-year-olds at Gulfstream Park. The bay colt was bred in Florida by Rick Sutherland and is owned by Tim O’Donohue Racing Stables.
