A filly from 2020 leading First-Crop sire Not This Time brought a session-best winning bid of $225,000 Tuesday at the OBS Selected Yearlings sale in Ocala.
The dark bay filly, hip No. 149 consigned by Lisa McGreevy’s Abbie Road Farm, went to Tonja Terranova, agent.
“She is a big, beautiful filly,” Terranova said of the yearling. “She had a great walk on her, very smooth. Every time we saw her, she just looked the part. (And) Not This Time has had a great year in his first year ”
“The stallion has done so well since (the Winter sale),” McGreevy added. “It’s enormous the way the Not This Time foals are running. He’s on top of his game. I think the timing was perfect.”
A Florida bred, the filly is the second foal out of the unraced Midnight Lute mare Midnight Magic, who is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner Coalport and stakes winner Jolly Good Kitten.
