Leading First-Crop sire Not This Time has a trio of juveniles set to contend this year’s Breeders’ Cup races Friday at Keeneland.

The Taylor Made stallion will be represented in three races: Next in the Juvenile (G1), Princess Noor in the Juvenile Fillies (G1) and Dirty Dangle in the Juvenile Turf Sprint (G2).

Dirty Dangle kicks off the action in Friday’s sixth race, which runs at 2:30 p.m. ET. The gray or roan filly was a bit unlucky to draw post 12 of 14 in the 5 1/2-furlong race. She has used a stalking style to win both of her starts, including the $135,000 Woodbine Cares S. on Sept. 19. Dirty Dangle will be making her first start for trainer Mark Casse. She is owned by C. DeMizio and Mary Biamonte and was bred by Nancy Shuford. 

In the Juvenile Fillies, race 8 at 3:50 p.m., the undefeated and untested Princess Noor is the 9-5 morning line favorite. She filly drew the outside post in a relatively small seven-horse field. Princess Noor, owned by Zedan Racing Stables, won both the Del Mar Debutante (G1) and Chandelier S. (G2) in blowout fashion and is a perfect three-for-three. She was the most expensive 2-year-old by a First-Crop sire this year when she sold for $1.35 million at the at the OBS April 2-year-old sale. 

Next comes into the Juvenile, race 10 at 5:15 p.m., off a blowout 12-length allowance win Oct. 24 at Keeneland. The Silverton Hill homebred has won two of his three starts and will be making his stakes debut Friday. Next drew post 11 in another full field of 14; he is trained by Wesley Ward.

Not This Time himself finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile before retiring to Taylor Made. He currently leads the First-Crop sire list by winners, black type winners and black type horses. Not This Time had his largest book to date, 159, in 2020 and will stand the 2021 season for $40,000 S&N.
