Easy Come Easy Go used a nice late closing kick to score her first victory in a seven-furlong maiden special weight race on Sept. 24 at Gulfstream Park.
The 2-year-old filly is the seventh first-crop winner for Midnight Storm, with all of them coming in maiden special weight affairs.
Easy Come Easy Go stalked the pace through a half-mile, then squeezed through an opening along the rail just before entering the stretch. She switched to the outside and ran past Sister Lou Ann in the final furlong to win by a length.
The winner is owned by Champion Equine LLC and was bred in Kentucky by Liberty Road Stables. She is the first foal out of Chati’s On Top, who was a stakes winner at Del Mar and earned more than $300,000.
