A $450,000 filly during the second day of the Aug. 8-9 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale set a new top yearling sales figure for Astrology, whose previous mark of $425,000 was set during last year’s Keeneland September Yearling sale.

Grupo 7C was the top bidder for hip No. 195, consigned by Taylor Made, home of Astrology, for Stonestreet Stables. The filly is out of the Forestry mare Winter Forest, dam of Kinsley Kisses, who has placed in three separate Graded stakes. Winter Forest is a sister to stakes winners Ever Elusive and Saratoga Summer.

Astrology next yearlings available at auction will be in next month’s Keeneland September Sale, where he has 24 lots currently cataloged.
