A $130,000 filly from the first crop sire Astrology topped a solid sale for the Taylor Made stallion at the July 9 Fasig-Tipton July yearling auction in central Kentucky.
With a total of four lots sold, Astrology’s offerings brought an average of $68,750, more than nine times his $7,500 stud fee.
Scott Mallory consigned hip No. 139, who brought the $130,000 winning bid from Stonestreet Stables. Out of the Distorted Humor mare Slewgenes Humor, whose granddam produced an amazing 12 winners from as many foals, including five stakes horses and the dams of four stakes producers.
